Now we have our own bus, we are starting to get out more.  Trips out enhance our curriculum and enable our children to see the wider environment.  Sometimes our trips will be linked to our topic at that time, other times they are trips just to widen and enhance our children's learning and experiences.  

For the older children, the trips are often a 'sign up if you want to go' trip.  This way we manage the trips around the children's interests and if they are not interested then they don't go!  However, we do also do some whole class / school trips where everyone goes and enjoys that time together.
